Used Item Donation Drop-Off Information

This is a self-serve drop-off point.  You can drop-off donations 24-hours a day, seven days a week. All used item donations for the Labor Day Auction may be dropped off at:

From all points using Route 30

  • Take Route 30 East or West to New Holland Avenue/Lancaster exit.
  • Go through the two traffic lights that are the main entrances
  • There is a blue sign after the second traffic light that is the entrance. Make a left in the Burle Business Park WEST entrance (there is a Recycle Station there as a landmark and if you go under the rail road bridge you went too far). During normal business hours use the WEST entrance. The WEST entrance is closed between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. It is also closed Saturday and Sunday and all holidays. Anyone who drops off items after 7:00 p.m. and on the weekends should use the MAIN gate. Turn left at the traffic light at Coyle Avenue.
  • Go up the driveway to the first building on the left

From Lancaster City

  • Follow Route 23 towards Leola/New Holland
  • Go past Kaye Ames and under the railroad bridge
  • After the railroad bridge you will see a blue sign that says WEST Entrance (if you hit the traffic light at the main entrance you went too far). During normal business hours use the WEST entrance. The WEST entrance is closed between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. It is also closed Saturday and Sunday and all holidays. Anyone who drops off items after 7:00 p.m. and on the weekends should use the MAIN gate. Turn left at the traffic light at Coyle Avenue.
  • Go up the driveway to the first building on the left

What to do once there

  • Pull up to the metal door (or loading dock if you have a pick-up truck)
  • Unload the items into the building onto pallets

Other Important Information

  • If you would like a receipt for your donations, please email an itemized list, your name and address to Hospice’s Special Event Coordinator, Holly Cheek, at hcheek@hospicecommunity.org. A receipt will be mailed to you.
  • This is NOT a Hospice-owned facility. Local business, Phoenix Courier, generously donates space in this warehouse to Hospice. Phoenix Courier employees are not available to help with unloading donations, receipts or questions.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Access is still possible through the Main Gate of the business park.
